Over the last 4 years Gospel & Gaming has had the privilege of friendship with gamers all over the globe. Friendship has meant learning, listening, and loving gamers wherever they are at. We get to celebrate great times together gaming, and share in the lowest moments of darkness. Depression, and mental health ailments are not realities gamers are exempt from suffering.
For some the topic of this interview will be particularly poignant as many gaming communities have members who have died to suicide, attempted suicide, are in the throws of depression, or struggle with mental health. Richard Tenhoor joins Jacob Toman today for a discussion on raising awareness about mental health, suicide, and the hope that is found in friendship and faith.
If you are a leader in ministry or your gaming community, I highly recommend hearing what Richard has to say about the risk factors associated with suicide, and the hope that is available to gamers.
